Description

This is an early 19th-century farmhouse with an attached barn, with additions made in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and has quoins. The south front features a flat-faced mullioned window of three lights, and a window of two lights that was originally a door entry. The first floor has four square windows with plain stone surrounds, all with altered glazing. A central stack rises from the ridge. The rear elevation has two square windows on the first floor and a single-storey outshut with a two-light window. The barn is taller, with a segmental arched cart entry and a mistal doorway to the left. The left-hand gable has arrow-slit ventilators and a circular opening near the apex.
