Description

Callis Bridge is a bridge over the Rochdale Canal, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a single span horse-shoe elliptical arch with rusticated voussoirs. The bridge has a band and parapet with buttressed corners, and it is topped with large flagstone copings.
