Description

This is a late 18th-century house, built on the site of earlier 18th-century fabric. It is constructed of hammer-dressed watershot stone with a graduated stone slate roof. The house has a double-depth plan, originally one bay wide and three storeys high, with quoins to the lower two floors. A 20th-century door has been inserted on the left side. The front features a five-light double-chamfered cavetto-moulded mullion window on the ground floor, and six- and five-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows above. A gable chimney stack is present. The rear elevation has a central square-cut door surround flanked by one- and two-light double-chamfered mullion windows. The rear first and second floors have five-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows.
