Description

These are four houses located on Strawberry Lane in Mossley, dating to the early 19th century. They are constructed of watershot stone with a slate roof. Each house is double-depth, with three storeys and a small, single-storey wing to the rear. Each cottage has four-light, flat-faced stone mullion windows on each floor, and a door with a square-cut surround; the entrance to number 13 is from the gable. Shaped eaves gutter brackets and brick stacks are present. The rear and gable feature two- and three-light windows. Group value is evidenced by the uniformity of design.
