Description
Nos. 1, 3, 5, and 7 Quick Road are four houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with slate and graduated stone slate roofs. Nos. 1 and 3 are double-depth houses, each with one bay and three storeys, while Nos. 5 and 7, which were originally one house, have three bays and four storeys and were built slightly later.
Nos. 1 and 3 feature a central door with a square-cut surround and an additional inserted door to the left. Each of these houses has three recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows, with one of them having a three-light window instead of the usual four-light design. They also have a rendered gable stack.
Nos. 5 and 7 have a central dressed doorway, with inserted doorways on either side that are now blocked. The windows in these houses include 5-light windows in bays 1 and 3, and a 3-light window in bay 2, all featuring recessed flat-faced stone mullions. They also have gable stacks, and No. 7 is now accessed through its gable.
