Description

The Huddersfield Narrow Canal Division Bridge is a roving bridge built between 1794 and 1797, designed by engineer Benjamin Outram. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a skew design with an elliptical arch. The bridge has curved parapet walls topped with round-topped coping stones, and it includes a stone band. The structure is supported by battered square piers at either end.
