Description

This is a late 18th-century house located off Stone Breaks Road in Saddleworth. It is constructed of hammer-dressed watershot stone, with a graduated stone slate roof to the front and a 20th-century tile roof at the rear. The house has a single-depth plan and stands three storeys high, with two bays and a small 20th-century extension to the right. A door with a dressed surround and overlight is positioned on the left side of the front elevation. The ground floor features a five-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion window. Above this are two-light and five-light windows, and there are two two-light gable windows, one of which has been blocked. A rendered gable chimney stack is also present.
