Description

This is a late 18th/early 19th century house on Ripponden Road, Saddleworth. The house is built of hammer-dressed watershot stone and has a graduated stone slate roof. It is a single-depth house with two bays and two storeys. It features quoins. The central dressed door surround is obscured by a 20th-century porch. Three-light windows are located on each floor of bays 1 and 2, while bay 2 contains a seven-light window. All windows have recessed flat-faced stone mullions. A gable chimney stack is present. There are also two-light and inserted 20th-century windows in the gables and rear of the property.
