Description

The Nook is a 2-storey house built from hammer-dressed stone, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. It features one bay and has a small wing at the rear. The house includes 6 and 5-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows. The door on the left gable has a square-cut surround. There is a gable chimney stack with water-tabling and an oversailing course. The rear wing has a separate roof and a lean-to extension on two sides. The stonework on the right gable is in watershot, and there are signs of a now-nonexistent adjoining building.
