Description
Nos. 6 and 8 Wall Hill Road is a house, now divided into two houses, built in 1799, as indicated by the date on the door lintel, with a later extension at the rear. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a roof made of graduated stone slate, slate, and 20th-century tiles. It has a double-range plan with two bays and two storeys, characterized by raised quoins. Each house has a door to the left with a square-cut surround. The ground floor windows consist of four and five lights, while the first floor windows have five and six lights, all featuring recessed flat-faced stone mullions. There are gable chimney stacks, one rendered and the other made of brick. The rear range also has quoins and windows with four, five, and thirteen lights, the latter featuring a king mullion and one blocked light.
