Description

Netherfield is a late 18th-century house located on the south-east side of Woods Lane in Saddleworth. The house is built of hammer-dressed stone, with a roof of graduated stone slate. It follows a two-bay, single-depth plan and has a small 20th-century extension to the rear. A projecting plinth runs along the base of the building. The central doorway has a square-cut surround. There are two five-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows on each floor. Gable stacks rise from the roof. The gables feature blocked windows and a taking-in door. A patio door has been inserted into the rear elevation.
