Description
Nos. 4 and 5 Sladen Fold is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has three bays and two storeys, with a two-storey wing at the rear. It is accented by quoins and has porches located between the first and second bays and between the second and third bays. The ground floor includes four and three-light flat-faced mullion windows, as well as a chamfered mullion window with the mullion removed. The first floor has two, five, and three-light windows, all with chamfered mullions. The roof is topped with ridge and gable chimney stacks. Additionally, there are flat-faced mullion windows and 20th-century windows on the gable and rear. This building is included for its group value.
