L shaped house, c.1800, probably stone, but now pebbledashed. Grey slate roof with lead rolls to hips. 2 storeys, 3 windows, with a symmetrical south-east front. Wide boxed eaves. 2 plain brick chimneys. Splayed reveals and heads to window openings, with label-moulds, painted. Painted projecting sandstone cills. Timber mullioned windows; 3-light to ground floor, 2-light to first floor. Projecting gabled porch, with turned posts on sandstone plinth, arched truss and heavy bargeboards 1880's by John Douglas. Patterned leaded glazing in casements, probably also by John Douglas. Boarded front door. Single storey extension, probably c.1900, to north. Interior: Not inspected.
