Description
Cheaveley Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the 18th and late 19th centuries. It is constructed of orange brick in English bond and features a Welsh slate roof with two parallel ridges and two brick chimneys. The building has a two-storey, three-bay front facing southwest. It includes a plastered plinth and a raised band at the first floor, along with twin gables at the front. The windows consist of nine large panes set under segmental heads, and there is a central door with a rectangular fanlight, accessed by five sweeping stone steps with iron balusters. There are additions to the rear of the farmhouse. Inside, there are some heavy beams, but little of architectural interest. The building is listed for its group value only.
