Description

The Villa is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of white-painted brick and features flush eaves and verges beneath a grey slate gabled roof, with two flush gable chimneys. The building is a simple two-storey structure with three windows. The windows are recessed sashes, with 16 panes on the lower storey and 12 panes on the upper storey. The entrance includes a six-panel door that has flush lower panels and raised middle and upper panels, set within a pedimented timber doorcase that has Doric design elements. Inside, there is a shaped open-string dog-leg staircase with stick balusters and a mahogany handrail that has a curtail. The interior also features six-panel doors.
