Description

Duffus Cottage is a house built around 1800, constructed of whitewashed brick with a pantiled roof. It has two storeys with a symmetrical layout. The central door is panelled and set within a fluted case that features shoulder roundels. There are two segmental-headed windows on each floor, which are placed under skewback arches and feature mid 19th-century sash windows. The eaves have a saw-toothed cornice. The roof is gabled with an internal stack on the north side and tumbling at the north gable head. At the rear, there is an early 19th-century gabled extension that has a dentilled eaves cornice.
