Description
The Swan Inn is a public house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys and a dormer attic, which are arranged in two distinct sections. There is a depressed arch over the carriage entrance on the left, below a casement window. Each storey of the facade has further casement windows, all of which date from the 19th century. The storeys are divided by a flat brick string course. There is a door to the left of the sign post and additional doors to the right. The hipped roof includes two gabled dormers, and there is a ridge stack located above the central door. Inside, there is an open brick fireplace with a bressummer, and the remains of exterior studwork can be seen at the rear.
