Description

Crossways and Tillywhim are two houses, originally three, dating from the mid-18th century, with later additions. The houses are timber framed and have a pantiled roof, with some areas rendered. The houses are two storeys high with a dormer attic. The main elevation has a C18 casement window to the left, with two C19 casement windows on the first floor above. Tillywhim, on the right, has C20 windows. There are two gabled dormers in the roof, with a central ridge stack. A two-storey brick extension, originally a shop, adjoins the left side of Crossways, retaining a shop window and a C19 casement window on the first floor, and a door at the angle. The extension has a hipped roof. A C20 conservatory has been added to the rear.
