Description

Wybunbury War Memorial is a sandstone Calvary cross featuring a metal figure of Christ. The cross stands on a tapering shaft, which is placed atop a square plinth. The plinth has raised inscriptions, with the dedication for the First World War on the front face stating: "REMEMBER O LORD FOR GOOD THE / MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO DIED FOR KING / AND COUNTRY 1914 1919 / (NAMES)." The rear face of the memorial simply reads: "1939 – 1945 / (NAMES)."
