Description
The Poplars is an early 19th-century farmhouse built of red Flemish bond brick with a plain tile roof. It stands three storeys tall and features a symmetrical entrance front with three bays. The central bay slightly projects and is flanked by pilaster strips at the corners. There is a central porch on the ground floor supported by Tuscan columns and topped with a flat roof. The porch leads to a half-glazed 19th-century door that has pilaster responds to the rear wall. On the ground floor, there are mid-19th-century sash windows with stone sills and wedge lintels. The first floor has similar lateral windows, along with a central arched window that features stone springers and a central keystone. The second floor has three windows, all with stone sills, wedge lintels, and a stone cornice.
