Description
Grove House is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Wybunbury Lane. It is built of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern and features a plain and fishscale tile roof. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical entrance front with three bays. The central porch has a flat roof and pilaster responds to the rear wall, topped with an entablature. The entrance includes a four-panelled door with a rectangular over door light. On either side of the door are sash windows with stone sills and wedge lintels, each containing four panes arranged in a 4 x 4 configuration. The first floor has three similar windows. To the left of the main structure, there is a one-bay addition from the late 19th century, which has windows with three panes arranged in a 3 x 4 configuration on both floors, also featuring stone sills and wedge lintels.
