Mill Farmhouse

Mill Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse that has undergone alterations and additions. It features a brick nogged timber frame with a brick gable on the south side and a tiled roof. The building is a single storey with an attic and has two window bays. A rear wing creates an "L" shape. The farmhouse has a blue brick plinth and small framing with angle braces. The windows are flush casements with glazing bars, consisting of three lights on the ground floor and two lights on the first floor, set in gabled dormers that have carved barge boards and finials. The front door, located in the north gable, is part glazed and boarded. There are gable end stacks. Inside, there is an inglenook with a fluted frieze on the face of the beam, ovolo moulded beams, and exposed ceiling joists. The timber framing is visible in the walls on both the ground and first floors.
