6/13 White Lion Cottages 12.1.67 (formerly listed as Cottage GV 60 yds NE of White Lion) II

Formerly one cottage, now two dwellings, early C17 with alterations and additions. Brick nogged timber frame with tile roof. Single storey and attic, 2 window bays. Symmetrical timber framing, now limited to the facade. Ledged and battened doors, with false strap hinges, under gabled hoods, near the gables. Replaced casements, ground floors and single 3-light casement, at first floor, in central gabled dormer with barge boards. Central stack. Blue brick plinths, brick gables and C20 brick lean-to at rear. Interior: A bevelled beam. Listed for group value only.
