Description
Fingerpost Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed with a brick nogged timber frame and a slate roof. It is a single storey with an attic and features three window bays. The building has a stone plinth and very slender timbers arranged in small framing with passing braces. There are later brick lean-to additions on the west gable and the rear (north) side. The entrance consists of a boarded door situated under a gabled hood. The windows are panel-width flush casements with glazing bars, while the upper windows are located in gabled dormers that have planted timbers in their apexes. The farmhouse has gable end stacks. Inside, there are wide boarded doors, slender chamfered beams, and exposed joists.
