Description
Woodhey Hall is a farmhouse built around 1870 as part of the Tollemache Estate. It is constructed of red brick and features a tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a total of four bays, including a gable. At the base, there is a sandstone plinth. The entrance door, which is set in a porch, is mounted on strap hinges and has front posts, brick side cheeks, an arch-braced head, and cross bracing in the apex, topped with a gable roof that includes a finial. The windows are cast iron lozenge types, ranging from two to five lights, and have stone sills and heads. There is also a hexagonal bay. The attic features windows in the gable, with planted timbers and gabled dormers, all adorned with finials. The gable on the east elevation also displays planted timbers. The two-bay rear wing on the north side has cast iron lattice windows, and the chimneys have divided flues above a weathered stone stack band.
