Cottage, early C18. Brick nogged lightweight timber frame with asbestos-cement slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Gable timbers indicate that the building was originally single storey and attic. Small framing in timbers only 125 mm. wide, passing braces. Some timbers removed and areas wholly rebuilt in brickwork. Ledged and battened door in simple added porch. Small flush casements with glazing bars. Gable barge boards. Interior: Ledged and battened doors on old strap hinges. Chamfered beams, exposed ceiling joists. Old staircase with winders.
