Description
Shrewbridge Cottages is a building dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and brick and has two storeys. The front block facing the road is now roughcast, with some imitation timbering on the front and one gable. The original timber framing can be seen on the other gable and the rear block. The building features 18th-century casement windows and a central doorcase with wood pilasters, a semi-circular fanlight, and sidelights, all from the 18th century. The roof is tiled. Originally, this structure served as an inn and is now divided into two houses.
