Description
Church House Farm House is an early 19th-century disused farmhouse constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a roof of large slates. The house is two storeys and an attic, with three bays, and a two-bay rear wing to the north-east which creates an "L" shaped plan. A projecting plinth is visible. The ground floor windows are 3-light flush casements with glazing bars, set within flat cambered arches. First floor windows are similarly styled, but with half-brick segmental arches. A half-glazed door is sheltered by a pitched hood with a trellis to the side. The central first-floor window directly above the door has been blocked. A brick dentil course runs along the eaves, and there are gable end stacks. The rear wing, constructed in English Garden Wall Bond, has been added later. Inside, you will find wide-boarded doors with six panels, and cased beams.
