Description

No. 18 Barker Street is a mid-18th century building constructed of red brick and stands two storeys tall. It features three sash windows that have channelled lintels and keyblocks. The building has a band and a moulded wood pilaster doorcase that frames a recessed six-panelled door, which is set in panelled reveals and topped with a small cornice hood supported by consoles. Notably, there are quoins only on the left-hand side of the building. The eaves are adorned with dentilled stone, and the roof is covered with slates. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 12 to 20 (even) and The Dowery.
