Description
Sandpit Cottages is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a timber frame clad in red brick with a plain tiled roof and consists of two blocks. The left block is two storeys high, built in English bond brick with a return hipped roof and a stack at the rear. It has one wooden casement window on each floor. The right block, dating from the early 18th century, is constructed of chequered brick and also stands two storeys tall with a gable. This block has one wooden casement window on the first floor, one round-headed metal casement window on the ground floor, and a boarded door set within a gabled timber porch.
