Description

Bockhanger Farmhouse is a 17th-century or earlier building, likely originally located on Grosvenor Road, now Bockhanger Lane. It is constructed of red brick with a brick string course. The house has two storeys and attics, topped by a steeply pitched tiled roof with overhanging eaves and a single small gabled dormer window. A massive, clustered brick chimneystack is a prominent feature. The front facade originally contained three casement windows: two have five lights each, featuring stone mullions, and one has two lights. The entrance is defined by wooden door posts and lintel.
