Description

Oak Farm Cottage is a timber-framed building dating from the 15th to 16th century, possibly originally featuring an open hall. It stands two storeys high and is characterized by its curved braces. The hipped tiled roof includes a smoke louvre and a large 17th-century chimney stack. The building has a jettied overhang that is supported by substantial oak brackets. On the ground floor, there are three casement windows with mullions and transoms. Inside, the cottage features an inglenook fireplace and a dragon beam.
