Description
Nos 116 and 118 on Hospital Street are probably early 18th century houses, although the front has been significantly altered. The building is symmetrical and has two stories with shallow projecting wings at each end. It features painted cement rendering and four late 19th century casement windows that do not have glazing bars. The main entrance has a moulded wood doorcase with three-quarter column pilasters, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panelled door. There is also a secondary entrance in the left-hand wing. The roof is tiled, with gabled ends and hipped projecting wings.
