Description

A pair of 17th-century cottages are located on the south side of Hospital Street. The cottages are timber-framed with painted brick infilling, and extend to two storeys. The ground floor features two modern casement windows, along with a bow window with a restored pilaster surround. The front has two 18th-century moulded wooden doorcases, each containing a 19th-century four-panelled door. The roof is tiled. The cottages are part of a group that includes numbers 122 to 126 (even), numbers 130 to 144 (even), Nuthurst School, numbers 146 and 148, and Churche's Mansion.
