Description

Nos. 136 and 138 on Hospital Street are early 19th-century buildings constructed from red brick. They stand three storeys tall and feature three sash windows with plain lintels. The entrance has a dimple pilaster doorcase with panelled reveals, a pediment, and a six-panelled door. On the right-hand side, there is a late 19th-century shop front with modern windows. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos. 122 to 126 (even), Nos. 130 to 144 (even), Nuthurst School, Nos. 146 and 148, and Churche's Mansion.
