Description

Nos 12 and 14 on Bridge Road are early 18th-century double houses. They feature a rendered front with a deep moulded and modillioned eaves cornice. The high-pitched roof is swept and covered with pantiles, complete with stone copings and kneelers, and has rendered end chimneys.

The buildings rise three storeys and have five windows, mostly sash windows with glazing bars set in plain reveals, accompanied by large keystones and stone cills. On the ground floor, there are two early 19th-century canted bay windows flanking a group of three doors, which are in later surrounds, with the central door serving as a passage.
