Description

This is an early to mid-18th century building comprising three properties, located at numbers 6, 8, and 10 Bridge Road in Stokesley. The building was constructed as a single unit and is built of local brick in a Flemish bond pattern. It features a stone plinth, quoins, horizontal bands, and a parapet coping. The roofs are a mix of modern clay tiles and concrete tiles, with three brick chimneys on the left-hand side.

The building has three storeys and originally had four windows, most of which are sashes with glazing bars, likely dating from the original construction. Number 6 has modern casement windows and a shop front dating to the early 20th century. Number 8 features a tripartite window on the ground floor with reeded pilasters. Number 10 has two-storey canted bays with sashes from the early 19th century. All other windows are topped with flat, brick arches incorporating large keystones. Numbers 8 and 10 both have paired front doors, each with an oblong fanlight set within a reeded surround.
