Description

No. 51 High Street is a building from the early to mid-19th century, with a possibly older core. It is constructed of local brick, featuring stone quoins and a plinth. The roof is low pitched and covered with lipped Welsh slate. The building has three storeys and two windows. The second floor has modern casement windows, while the first floor features late 19th-century wooden sash windows set in architraves with flat brick arches and stone cills. The shop front has been modernized. The left return of the building has three bays with altered glazing. This building is included partly for its group value context.
