Description
Number 1 and the building to the west of Number 1, formerly known as the Old Court House, date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick with a stone plinth and quoins, and feature a stone ground floor on the return. The buildings have a low pitched hipped roof covered with Welsh slate and rise to two storeys with three windows. The west return has a single bowed window, while a lower added bay on the right includes a passage entrance. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars, although the ground floor openings have been altered to accommodate modern doors. Additionally, a modern shop front has been inserted into an older opening on the left return.
