The Spread Eagle Public House is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of High Street in Stokesley. It features a roughcast exterior and a modern clay pantiled roof, with a brick chimney at the left end. The building is three storeys high and has one window. The original sash windows, which have been replaced, include glazing bars, with two-light windows on the first floor, all set within wooden architraves and stone cills. The shop front has been modernized.
