Description
Manor House is an 18th-century building with early 20th-century alterations. It stands two storeys tall, featuring a symmetrical main front on the east with three windows, and a later wing with two windows on the north side. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, and there is a recent pediment-gable above the slightly recessed central section. The walls are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with some blue headers, rubbed flat arches, and stone cills. The windows are sash style, with the central first-floor and outer ground-floor windows being three-light, and two narrow lights on each side of the entrance. The entrance is framed by a modern Doric pilaster doorcase, featuring an open pediment, an arched opening with a radiating fanlight, and a six-panelled door. The south elevation has five windows and some altered walling, which previously included a central entrance, and it retains similar architectural features. The west elevation has projecting sides with a window arrangement of one, two, and one, with the south side being the early west end of the former L-shaped building, showcasing similar features and a 'classical' doorcase.
