Description

Barn Cottage and The Barn House date to the 17th century and were converted from an old timber-framed barn into two dwellings in the 1920s. The rear of the buildings is two storeys high, while the front (north) is one storey and has an attic. The roof is tiled, with a half-hipped design and low eaves at the front, featuring two large, two small, and one larger half-dormers, all added during the conversion. The upper part of the eastern side of the rear wall displays exposed timber framing, with brick nogging, while the rest of the walls are red brickwork. The buildings have modern casement windows, along with traditional and garage doors.
