Description
The Cottage and the cottage adjoining to the east is an early 17th-century building that has been later extended and is now divided into two dwellings. It features a roughcast covering over a brick nogged timber frame and has a tiled roof. The structure is two storeys high with an attic and consists of two bays. The gables project at both the first floor and eaves level, with exposed timber visible on the north elevation beneath the eaves. The ground floor has three-light leaded casement windows, while the upper floor has three-light flush casements. There are boarded entrance doors and a full-length lean-to at the rear, which is covered in old slates. The building has gabled barge boards and a central chimney stack. Inside, there are ovolo moulded beams and old ledged and battened doors.
