Description

No. 100 Front Street is a house built in 1837, as noted in the owner's deeds. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble and features a modern partile roof. The building has two storeys and includes three sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance has a modern door topped by an oblong fanlight, which is sheltered by a moulded hood supported by curved brackets. The windows have flat stone lintels and projecting cills. There are two brick chimney stacks at either end of the house. Additionally, there is a recess for an inset boot scraper, although this feature is now missing.
