Description

No. 2 Talbot Street is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of squared sandstone and has a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and a cellar, featuring a moulded stone gutter cornice. The windows are modern but include glazing bars and are set in plain stone surrounds, with two bays facing Talbot Street and one bay facing Windy Street. The entrance door is located at the corner between the two facades, framed by a plain stone surround and flanked by chamfered quoins on the first floor above. The Talbot Street facade also includes three low cellar openings with plain stone surrounds.
