Description

No. 45 Main Street is a house built around 1800. It is constructed of squared sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have plain stone surrounds. The right-hand ground-floor window is tripartite with square mullions, while the left-hand window has two lights with a square mullion. The door is located between the bays and has a plain stone surround. To the left of the door, there is evidence of a second, blocked opening. The house also has shaped stone gutter brackets and end chimneys.
