No. 12 Windy Street is a house dating from around 1800. It is constructed of coursed sandstone and features a slate roof. The building has a symmetrical design with three storeys and three bays, and it includes end stacks. The quoins are tooled, and both the door and windows have plain stone surrounds. The windows are mostly sashed with glazing bars, except for the modern windows on the second floor and the central window on the first floor, which is fixed and also has glazing bars.
