Description

No. 16 Church Street is a house built around 1800. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with sandstone dressings and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features one bay. The windows have glazing bars, with the upper panes able to open, and they are tripartite with square stone mullions. The door, located to the right, has a plain stone surround. Next to the door is a small window with plain reveals, which is set within a blocked opening. This blocked opening is now aligned with the party wall that separates the house from No. 14, which has undergone alterations.
