Description

No. 8 Church Street is a house, which was originally two cottages, built in the late 18th century. The exterior features scored render with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows consist of three lights and are framed with plain stone surrounds that include square mullions. The right-hand windows extend onto the gable wall, where one window has a single light and a corner mullion. There are two central doors, both with plain stone surrounds and three stone steps leading up to them. The right-hand door has been blocked off and converted into a window. The house has end stacks.
