Description

Nos. 18 and 20 Church Street are a pair of houses built in 1810, as indicated by a plaque on the first floor. They are constructed from squared punched sandstone and feature a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high, with each house consisting of one bay and a door located on the outer side. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have plain stone surrounds. There are shaped stone gutter brackets, and each house has a chimney positioned to the right. The left-hand gable of No. 20 includes an attic window that is also sashed with glazing bars, set in a plain stone surround with a semi-circular head and keystone.
